My friend's mother just had her annual mammogram and they found a tiny lump... so small that they could not feel it-- but Thank God she went because it was cancerous!

She was so lucky that she found it so early because she doesn't have to go through chemo... she did have to have a mastectomy (and then breast reconstruction) but she managed to avoid chemo and radiation. She has to take some kind of hormones but it didn't spread and she should be fine!

So get your mammograms (if you are of the age) and yearly PAPs and everything else that isn't fun but it SO important!
