PSA - Water Safety Reminder

Mommies, now that the warmer months are upon us, PLEASE remember to be very careful with your children and water.

At a mommy group I attended today, the speaker said that recently, a 20 month old was bathing in the bath tub. when his parents took him out of the tub and brought him to his room, the parents took their eyes off him for one moment, where the baby ran back into the bathroom, into the bath tub and drowned. PLEASE, once you're done in the bath tub, drain it out immediately. You can say "bye bye" to the water together, or you can have your child help you clean up...putting toys away, getting rid of the bubbles, if they bathe with bath bubbles...this way the water is gone and one less thing to worry about.

Please be careful with pools, buckets, anything that can collect water and become dangerous.

Here's to a happy and healthy summer! Chat Icon
