PSA: scam debt collection agent

for the past week DH and i have been getting messages from someone named George Hicks who says he is calling from a debt collection agency and leaves an 800# for us to call.

We called the company, which after calling the FTC after this man called us 4x, we found is a legit company, but the agency has never heard of this man and they have nothing about us in their system.

So, if a man named George Hicks calls you saying he is from a debt collection company, do not give him any of your personal info.
Whatever number he is calling from comes up as unavailable in our caller id.

We are going to write this company a letter asking them to stop calling us. And if they dont, the FTC will take action against them.
