PSA...house keys

I just had the worst night ever and feel there is a lesson to be learned with every mistake.

I took DS for a walk around 5pm only to arrive back home and realize that I locked myself out. DH is working late tonight and wont be home until after 11. I panicked...i had no food, DS goes to sleep at 7:30pm...
Thankfully I have great neighbors who took DS and I to get food and then let me sit in there house until another neighbor got home with my spare key.

It was the worst, but we are home safe and DS is sound asleep...i dont even think he realized.

Please be sure to give more than one neighbor a key or keep it somewhere around your property just in case. I always thought I was good because I left a spare set with a neighbor...but tonight when I really needed, she wasnt home!

I am a perfect example of this.. I have locked myself out of the house numerous times

I have now made 5 spares (yes, 5).. and 1 is at the neighbors, the other in a certain spot, the other in our motorcycle, ect ect lol
