PSEG Bill
Just got our first bill from them, it is for 2 months and is $190. Is this normal, good, bad? I have no basis coming from RVC electric. I am sure the next bill will go up bc of A/C.

For 2 months, no not bad at all but it depends on the size of your house, how much you have running etc. but mine for 2 months would prob be about that

Re: PSEG Bill
Also depends if that's an actual reading or an estimate.
For a bigger house running CAC all the time, you'd never see a bill that low.

Thanks. House is about 1800sqf. Just me and DH. We have a ductless and only started using it last 2 weeks so I am sure it will go up.

My house is about 1800 sf, and I have CAC running all summer. My bill is usually around $190-210 during the summer, so it's possible. My bills are actual readings and I pay every two months.

I find them so screwy
I'm sure it will go up. That's too low for two months.

We have 2000 sf house, run our CAC all day, our pool and heater and I am very bad about leaving on all the lights and tvs lol. Our budget billing is 250 a month. The summer is a little higher and the winter is lower so it all balances out.

I was actually curious about this. PSEG came and rang our doorbell about a month ago about an initiative to install solar paneling on houses in the area. Apparently there's some sort of law that energy companies have to get a certain percentage of solar energy installed every few years. The last time, they tried to have the home owners pay for the installation and they did not meet their percentage and were fined as a result. So this year they are installing the solar panels free of charge. I was hesitant since we just moved in and it SOUNDS too good to be true. Any idea if this is true or not?? If so, I'm all for it!

Sounds like a Power Purchase agreement. If you go solar, buying the panels are best. There is program/loan through NYS that is making it completely possible to do. We are actually in the process right now.

Re: PSEG Bill
That is good for two months. I have central AC and this month my bill was $175 and next month I anticipate it to be more especially with all of the 90 + degree days we have been having
