Public and Media Swarm as Heath is Moved
In a crush of spectators, photographers and video cameras, the body of Heath Ledger was moved from the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel in New York -- in an outpouring of curiosity and grief reminiscent of the deaths of John Lennon and Marilyn Monroe.
TMZ is told that Ledger's father is in New York, but he was not seen at the funeral parlor today. There are reports of a private service for Heath in L.A. this weekend. Ledger will be buried in Perth, Australia.

That is just tragic.. It's crazy how I don't know this person and yet I just feel so sad that he died.

My girlfriend is so upset that he has died...and is making me upset too. I don't even think I saw one movie that he was in and I'm so sad for him and his family.
It's disgusting how the media is taking pictures....

MAkes me feel bad for looking at these pictures...its so sad and I just keep thinking about that little girl that will never grow to know her dad that seemed to have loved and adored her so very much
