public cord blood banking
Has anyone looked into public cord blood banking vs. private? can someone give me a quick run-down on the big differences? how exactly would you get your blood back from a public bank if g-d forbid you needed it?

You wouldn't get your own cord blood back, but a match if one is found.
With a private cord bank you would get your own cord blood back if needed.

really? i thought that they said that the chance of your baby's blood still being there is high, but not guaranteed. ugh- i don't know what to do!
