Puffy eye? Can anyone help me?
Cailen woke up this morning with one eye a little puffy - almost like a sty (sp?)
It does not seem to bother him at all - it definitely isn't pink eye - just puffy and nothing else - he isn't rubbing it - its bothering me though - one corner of his eye is puffy and I don't know if its something I should just leave alone
We are going to the city today too, in this icky weather...

No one ever had a DC with a sty or puffy-looking eye?

Lucas gets them once in a while. Sometimes I take a warm cloth and rub his tear duct a little to see if that might be the cause.
I also apply a very light layer of aquaphor to the outside. In case it's dry skin causing it. But that's something you have to be comfortable with.
For the most part it usually goes down. Give him a bath and see if it helps.

Bryan never had it, but, I used to get stys. He may have a sty. I never had anything oozing (sorry way TMI) or anything. My eye just hurt and looked like it was half shut. Can you put a cold compress on it?

We do the same, except for the acquafor, i also give them 1/2 dose of benadryl.
