Pull up cloth underwear for bed wetters
DS has been for the past few weeks wetting the bed at night. It's now becoming a 3-4 night occurrence. I can't see myself buying disposable pull ups for him because he associates those with being a baby and I don't want to risk him regressing during the day. I have looked online and seen etsy vendors and a few brands for pull up cloth underwears for bed wetters. Has anyone used these? Any brand or vendor you could recommend?
I'm losing my mind between being woken up he has to pee, going to the bathroom to find out he is soaking wet, and then he still pees on the toilet. Of course he only wants me to take him to the bathroom and DH is soundly asleep.

Re: Pull up cloth underwear for bed wetters
Gerber makes them. Hard to find.
My mom used these to train my boys.
I would use pullups. IDK how old he is but I know it takes time for bladder control at nite.
it if helps, my DD is five and still has probs.
I couldnt handle being woken up in middle of nite and to deal with cleanup every day.

Re: Pull up cloth underwear for bed wetters
Thanks for the tips. DS is a profound sleeper. So I am sure he will have accidents for a few years, although I hope not!! I had pushed the time back by 30 minutes last week when I gave him his last drink and he still wet the bed. Wednesday and last night I pushed back the time by an hour and he was dry. Not sure if that has helped or he just didn't have to go... but the last couple of mornings he woke up excited telling me mommy I didn't pee pee on the bed.

Re: Pull up cloth underwear for bed wetters
We used the gerber training underpants when potty training our dd and I don't think they will necessarily achieve what you want.... Essentially when she had an accident it didn't splash all over the floor - but the clothes she was wearing and wherever she was sitting still got wet - it just contained it a bit.... I remember when training ds towards the end when he was already trained but would have a random accident I had these plastic underpants - would put them on OVER his regular underwear and that contained the accident if he had one at least to the clothing - if it was a major pee it might leak out the edges but should save the bed. Hope that is helpful!

Those thick underwear won't cut it, your child will still be soaked, as will the sheets. I would put rubber pants over them if you go that route, or get the older child Overnites (plain with no characters, prints, etc on them)

Re: Pull up cloth underwear for bed wetters
I got cloth pullups for ds. He still wets the bed nightly. The ped keeps saying he will stop when hes ready. Anyway I got a couple pairs from mothergoosedesigns. I paid extra for the overnight absorbency and everything. I had a great experience with the site and the product looked great but I guess ds is a heavy wetter. He leaked almost every night. We ended up back in disposable pull ups.
