Pumping at work - Privacy Issues - how does THIS work??

So I know most jobs have to allow you time to pump. And I heard it can't be in a bathroom.

What happens if you work for a huge company that has cameras everywhere, that is being actively monitored by security staff? What then?

Do you just wear a nursing cover??? Even then, wouldn't you still feel awkward?

Anyone ever been in this situation?

I have never been in your position, but understand your concern. If this is a large company.....something with this matter should be addressed in the handbook. The company should designate a room just for you!!!

There should be a designated area by law, with privacy and running water :)

A bathroom, even if private, is not a permissible location under the Act. The location provided must be functional as a space for expressing breast milk. If the space is not dedicated to the nursing mother’s use, it must be available when needed in order to meet the statutory requirement. A space temporarily created or converted into a space for expressing milk or made available when needed by the nursing mother is sufficient provided that the space is shielded from view , and free from any intrusion from co-workers and the public.

Tell them that they'll have to cover up the cameras.
