Pumpkin Patches in Southern Nassau?
We want to take out little one to a pumpkin patch this year to pick pumpkins/hay ride etc. Anyone know of a good pumpkin patch in or near Southern Nassau?

It isn't a pumpkin patch, but Dees nursery in Oceanside does some great fall stuff for the kids. They have a petting zoo, crafts, storytime and ponyrides. Everything is free except the pony rides. And for the adults they are bringing back the haunted house. If it is anything like it was years ago, definitely not for the faint of heart.

I don't know if there is a hay rides but, the big white church on Hemp Tpk in East Meadow/Levittown area does it up really nice if you don't want to travel out east. They have hay bales and decorate it nice. They have games and characters that visit on the weekend. I did it one year when we just couldn't get out east.
