Puppies losing teeth?
Jersey lost a tooth tonight. I know that this is normal but I was wondering if there is anything I can do to sooth her mouth. I gave her a cold wet towel to chew on & she loves it, anything else I should do? TIA!

Re: Puppies losing teeth?
I am giving Scout a frozen Kong filled with peanut butter and yogurt. Also a frozen rope tug toy is good. Frozen carrots, and ice. The cold apparently numbs their poor gums.

Re: Puppies losing teeth?
Even if she DID choke, it would melt inside her before any harm could be done.
At thepet store they said not to bother with the teething rings and stuff, just freeze the rope toy and give them that,....as well as the other stuff I mentioned. We'll see -- Scout is extremely mouthy!

They also make a soft canvas bone especially for teething that you can freeeze. The frozen towel works too

The trainer told me not to bother with that canvas bone, just use the rope toy - of course we had already bought one - and Scout had chewed it open, cork alllllll over the house!!

Re: Puppies losing teeth?
We use to give Bella ice cubes, and I also wet a washcloth then froze it, and she would chew on that all day.
