puppy food question!
What did you feed your dog when they were puppies? My vet recommended science diet, iams and purina but a friend of mine told me these were not good. If anyone has any suggestions /recommendations, I'd really appreciate it. TIA

my dogs started out on science diet because thats what the shelter was feeding him. Then DH and I switched our dogs to Nutro and they love it and are 4 years old now. I havent had any troubles with it. Try to pick up samples of the nutro from the pet stores, they often will have mini sample bags for free to try. HTH

our pup was on nutro max from the breeder but we weened him off onto Soild Gold Hooden Flocken puppy food. It is a holistic food

My mini doxie has been eating Science Diet since he was a puppy. He is almost 5 years old now. He loves it!

My Puppy was eating Royal Canin up until 4-months old and then we switched to Nature Organics just because it was better for her, but she loves both.

Daisy was on Iams Puppy food....now due to digestive issues unrelated to the food, she's on Science Diet.

we use halo puppy food. Great organic stuff and pup loves it. we mix a little bit of we beneful to juice it up.

these foods are NOT good and i am always surprised when a vet reccomends them. BUT what i usually do is stat them off on whatever food they are on and then ween them onto a good food. i usually do Wellness but now i am weening them onto Merrick.

My personal favorites are Candiae and Innova. Both are very high quality. My dogs are on Innova Evo and they love it and its great for allergies too!
