PUPPY PARKS FOR SMALL DOGS
Anyone know of a puppy park only for small dogs in Nassau County?

Re: PUPPY PARKS FOR SMALL DOGS
I am not sure about the ones in Nassau but most dog parks have a section for small dogs. (25lbs and under) I think the Wantagh one has that but I am not 100% sure. I know the new blydenburg has that in Smithtown

Wantagh and Blydenburgh both have small dog runs next to the big ones....they are generally for very small dogs like under 15 pounds.

Our little dogs love the small section of the dog park at Blydenburgh but it's in Suffolk

Re: PUPPY PARKS FOR SMALL DOGS
Good question!
This may be a silly question but are these parks completely fenced in? (except of course for when you go in & out).

There is one in Wantagh and Seaford--they are both for dogs under 20 lbs and they are completely fenced in :)

Re: PUPPY PARKS FOR SMALL DOGS
The only dog run we went to was in Roslyn and yes it was. Poor Tiny was bombarded by larger dogs and he won't move out of the corner. There were some dogs who appeared to be aggressive and the owners let them loose. I would never go there again. We are willing to try a small breed run though.

Re: PUPPY PARKS FOR SMALL DOGS
Tiny does not like the cold - He is Spoiled. Likes to be home, under a blanket snoozing....Or laying on my lap or Danielles lap. He is LAzy in the winter

The once at Cedar Creek is all the way on the est side of the dog run - seperate entrance from the "big" dog run.
The dog run is at the end of the park, on right side just after the treatment plant.... Let me know if you need better directions.
