Pure Barre on Long Island?
Thinking of taking a few classes and seeing if it's for me. The closest locations to me are Woodbury, Manhasset, and Huntington. Has anyone been to any of these locations and can offer feedback?
TIA!

Re: Pure Barre on Long Island?
I've been going to manhasset for almost a year and I love it. The owners are very friendly and the instructors are great and bring enough variety to keep it interesting. I truly look forward to going 3-4 times a week. This is the only workout I've ever done where I have gotten such visible results. Not one but TWO of my doctors asked what workout I was doing after examining me, lol

i have taken classes at the Manhasset location. Everyone is super friendly and I enjoyed the work out once it was done. During the workouts I curse and grind my teeth only complaint is the cost

Wow!! How quickly did you see results? Do you do any other workouts in addition to the classes?

One more ?.....What is the maximum # of people in a class? Are the classes packed when you go?

Re: Pure Barre on Long Island?
I noticed a difference with my arms and abs after maybe a month or two of going 3-4 times per week. Then I noticed my thighs firming up but not ncessary getting smaller. After about 50 classes I noticed my thighs getting slimmer. After 100 (8 months for me) I am seeing a very exciting difference in my "seat," an area I had long given up on lol! I want to say they cap it around 25 ppl but they never overbook so there's always enough space. Weekday class s are usually even less full. For a while I did it with cardio but stopped as I honestly hate cardio and am not trying to lose weight. It moves fast and keeps your heart rate up anyway.
Eta - you have to sign up ahead of time for classes.

Pure Barre on Long Island?
I go to Bure Barre in Woodbury but can only make it 2x per week since I live in Seaford. I like it so much so that I travel and even to a 5:30am class. The instructors are fantastic and it's a good workout. I am a runner and also enjoy other workouts but I do make sure to do barre 2x. I highly recommend it. They have deals a lot and from what I hear Black Friday they have awesome deals. Give it a try i think it's $20 for your first class. GL
