PVC fencing

i want to start getting some quotes to fence in my yard. Im not sure if we are going to be able to swing it for this summer.. but we live on a corner and we have no back yard privacy.

what companys did you use in nassau?

im not even sure how much we are looking at but its a big area.. im kinda scared... anyone know how much it runs per section

We used Carl's Fence in Behtpage. Phone # 579-7110. They were great and very competitively priced.

Rose Fence is also supposed to be very good, but their quote was much more than the one we got from Carl's.

Check with your town 1st. I am in Town of Babylon, and here, if you have a corner property, you may not have a fence more than 3 feet high, unless it is chain link.

We used Rose fence. They were the best price for us.

We also quote Amendela (sp?). They were VERY high for us. Carl was way out of our price range.

All the companies are somehow inconsistent. Some of us got higher or lower quotes on the similar jobs with same company.

I was very happy with Rose fence.

You might want to concider Liberty Fence also.

We are putting in a PVC fence within the next month, I called Precision Fence based off of a rec on here. We have Rose Fence coming here on Friday for another quote, but we are very happy with the price we received, we are doing the tan PVC with white posts.

We used Rose Fence and were VERY happy with them. Their quote was the best, and they were really easy to work with. I have no complaints here!

Also, definitely check with your town. We are in the Town of Hempstead, and there are so many rules and regulations on everything (and so many of them just don't make a ton of common sense...but that's another topic.) The companies that you get quotes from should have a pretty good idea of what you can and can't do without permits or variances, but I think you should definitely check online to find their requirements, especially considering you are on a corner lot.

thanks ladies! i will def check with the town since we are a corner, but when we bought we looked around the area and people had 6ft pvc to the corner.. which we wouldnt even me doing.. so im pretty sure what we would want would be ok.. but i will def check and like some of you said, im sure the fence co's have a good idea.

myparents used rose, so i plan on calling them, but thanks for the suggestions, ill prob be calling them as well!!

can anyone post an average what each piece cost and if you had a gate too? looking to change some pieces that have the lattice top but if its too much then I wont bother. tia.
