Q about celeb babies
why is it ok to rip apart celeb babies but not regular people's babies? 
there was a thread not too long ago on NFR about ugly babies and so many people got SO p*ssed off. so why is this ok now? 
this JMO but I think the double standard is pretty disturbing.

One thing I cannot bring myself to do is to say anyone's baby is ugly. I do not think any baby is ugly. They are all precious and adorable.

I like to read about celeb babies, but I don't think I see them getting ripped too much, with the exception of the cutest thread. And I would never call anyone's baby ugly, celeb or not.

i dont think its double standard unless the ppl who got pizzed off actually say a celeb baby is ugly.
me, i dont discriminate. i dont care whose baby it is; if i htink its cute then i think its cute. if i think its ugly then i think its ugly.

i agree. i think some of them can be Very funny looking (then again, my mom said i looked like Yoda when i was born, and my sister looked like a purple flinstone vitamin ).
but its weird to me to hear people say that a baby is "UGLY".

I would never say to someones face that their child is ugly. That is mean. But it is human to think that some adults are more attractive than others so, IMO, it would be equally human to think that some babies are cuter than others.

I don't know. I think the "cutest" thread was just in good fun. It's not like I'd actually go up to Katie Holmes and say "Geez your kid's ugly!" No way. Nor would I do that to somebody's baby IRL. I would be a liar if I said that I haven't THOUGHT to myself that a baby looked funny though.

i dont think anyone in their right mind would ever tell someone they think their baby is ugly. that is just pure evil if you ask me.
thinking it is human. imo i dont see anything "wrong" with having an opinion on someones looks... whether they be 2 months or 20.

It's not just the "cutest baby" thread. I've seen it said many times before.
I think Paris Hilton's dog is the ugliest damn thing! but I know how many people pn here love pets, so I keep that to myself. well, until now I guess

personally I think all newborns look "strange" but they get cuter as they grow up. At about 1 years old I think all babies are cute

so true! Ive never thought or said a baby is ugly. I think all babies are adorable, ofcourse some are cuter than others but that's about it.

i ignored it the first time cuxz i thought the comment was dumb, but it seems like youve got it out for me or something.
if you think a dog is ugly then your entitled to your opinion. same if i think a baby is ugly im entitled to my opinion.
i'm not going to tell someone i think their baby is ugly and hopefully you wont tell someone you think their dog is ugly.
your constant comments towards me about dogs is getting really old. i dont understand it. you keep adding your little jabs every so often here and there and i think ive been pretty good about letting it go because i dont want drama, but for some reason it seems like you do...... i would bite my tongue again but it seems like you must want me to comment since youve said it on a few occasions without me justifying your comment those times.
its funny b/c just before i read this comment (again on this thread) i read Sweetest's post about Paris' dog and i was going to say "if you think that then thats your opinion and theres nothing "wrong" with having your opinion"

I agree, that is a terrible thing to say about a baby, no matter if they belong to a celebrity or not
