Q about newborn photo shoots

I'm thinking about booking one and I was wondering-

Is it standard to get digital copies via email or a website you can save off of?

Can you use the pics for ur announcements you buy elsewhere- i.e. will the photog usually give u CLEAN digital copies/ without their watermark on them?

Lastly, and this one is really making me think (maybe I'm neurotic)- do they bring some of their own props and if so, is that hygienic? I mean, obviously I wouldn't want my newborn to get germs from some other newborn's photo props, right?

I think it depends on the photographer. What I found when looking is that you will have to pay extra for any digital proofs you want. DH and I booked a package and just ordered the high resolution CD with all the proofs on it. We will order our own prints. We are using September Blue Photography.

Depends on the photographer. Most offer digital packages or the option of purchasing a CD with a package. With some you can order individual digital files.

Not sure what everyone else does, but i wash any props that I use in my washer with hot water. I do ruin some of my props this way but would rather they be clean. I also wipe down any baskets/buckets used.
