Q for people who sell avon

First let me say I AM SORRY IF THIS IS A STUPID QUESTION(s)

Here is the Q
How does it work, when someone orders something do you have to give them the product in person and get the money from them or do you order it for them and they get it in the mail or do you order it to your address and then send it to the person?
and how do you make money on it?

My MIL sells avon. I don't know too much, but I'm pretty sure her customers give her the money, it gets shipped to her house and she brings it to them.

I know that she also makes 20% of all online orders.

You can do it either way

I take the orders from each of my customers (I am not at this time an e-representative), so I place the order, it all gets shipped to my house, I go through it and give it to my customers. At that time, I collect the money from them.

I do believe that if you do an online order through a representative, it can be shipped to your house, directly from Avon.

I have at times, shipped things from my house to others house, depending on how much stuff that have.


The making money part comes from how much you sell in a given campaign.
I forget exactly how much it is but usually it is 20% under (lets just say $250 in sales), above that it is 30%. And it will continue to go up after that.
I can find that info if you need me to.

Also, you can make more money if you have representatives that work 'under' you.

My mom takes orders and gets the shipments at her house. She bags the items, delivers them and collects the money upon delivery. She does not charge a delivery fee.
