Q for those who have previously charted a pregnancy cycle
I just noticed that I had a very steep drop in temps the day before I started on my five-day OPK surge when I got pregnant with DS. I noticed because this morning I had a very low temp compared to the previous ones (CD15) and the pattern seems very similar.
My question is have you noticed a pattern to your pre-O temps or am I crazy?
By the way, I realize normal people wouldn't be this crazy about when they're going to O but my pregnancy cycle was 48 days and the previous cycle was 39 so I'm not exactly 'normal people'

Re: Q for those who have previously charted a pregnancy cycle
Well you piqued my interest so I went back to FF to look at my 2 pregnancy charts. One time it was the lowest temp I had that cycle 5 days pre-O, the other time it wasn't any different than my other pre-O days. So, not sure if there is any correlation...
ETS: Now I re-read your post and am confused by your 5 day OPK surge. You got + OPKs for 5 days or am I misreading that?

Re: Q for those who have previously charted a pregnancy cycle
Ooh, cool. The thought of having a remotely normal cycle makes me very happy
Jessee - yes, I got that little for five straight days. I actually cried the last day because I was just sooooo tired and couldn't fathom BD'ing another day in a row But, it all worked out so looking back, it was worth it. If it happens again this time, though, remind me of this post, will ya??
ETA: I am actually fairly certain I have PCOS w/ ovulation (likely causing the super long surges prior to O) but I figure if I can get preggo, it's obviously not bothering me. If I go longer than 3 cycles though I'm going to look into it.

Hmm, very interesting. I would have cried too
Are you using OPKs again and finding that's still the case? I hope it doesn't need to be investigated further

Re: Q for those who have previously charted a pregnancy cycle
Well I found this random Q&A info on the web if it helps at all (even though this wasn't really your question):
Q:What if my OPK is positive for several days in a row? A:It is possible, in a normal ovulation, to have a positive OPK for several days in a row. This is because LH peaks (surges) about 12-36 hours before ovulation occurs, and then dissipates. So, you could theoretically detect this high level of LH with positive OPK's from the time it begins to the time it dissipates-- over 36 hours.
It is also possible that your body is "gearing up" to ovulate, and you have an LH surge-- and then, for some reason (such as stress, illness, travel, or random fluke), your body fails to release an egg . . . then tries, tries again ASAP with another, or overlapping, surge. If you see a positive OPK for longer than 3 consecutive days, your egg is probably just having a little trouble getting out of the starting gate. If this happens to you occasionally, it's no big deal. If it happens a lot, talk to your doctor.
