Q ....If you've sold furniture from your home...
Did you take it outside or have the buyers take it outside. I know most of the time I see ads with "bring your own truck and 3 guys to lift" but since it's bulky items, my hubby's more concerned about how they'd get it out and if theyd smash a wall or something in the process.
If its a cumbersome thing to get out, we're better off taking it out of the house ourselves right ?

if you're worried about your walls or something, I'd take it out myself.
Speaking of which...my parents are REALLY trying to sell a sofabed, loveseat, and queen anne chair on ebay/CL - the new stuff is coming next week, and the old stuff is STILL sitting in that room with nowhere to go!

I'm not that comfortable with strangers coming in my house so I would take it outside.
When we listed a garage sale on craigslist, it was at my grandmother's house. All of the furniture was outside. She was moving to a home so it wasn't an issue if someone knew she lived alone.

My mom had a garage sale and she was selling some furniture. the big pieces she left in the house...and one of us brought the buyers into the house to see it. When they came and picked it up, we helped them out of the house with it...just so we could make sure they didnt damage the walls going out
