Q re: Pregnancy LMP vs. sono

For those who had a different due date from your LMP and your sono:

Which did you go by?
And when did you deliver? Was it closer to your LMP or your sono date?

My due date is 3/25 according to my LMP but according to the sono the baby is measuring smaller for a due date of 4/4. The dr's are keeping my 3/25 due date. I guess b/c that was my LMP and b/c I just gave birth 9 months ago.

I honestly can't see me going into April with this pg. But if the baby is measuring 4/4 I just might. But then again the baby could just be small. I don't know what to think.

TIA!

Carolyn

Re: Q re: Pregnancy LMP vs. sono

We went by my LMP. My sono said I was 3 days behind what my LMP said. My DS was born 4 weeks early, so it didn't really matter anyways!

I did't have a LMP to go by. My sono at 9 weeks gave me a due date of 11/15 and dd was born 11/12. Every sono after that gave me an earlier due date but my OB said the earliest sono is most accurate but can vary by 5 days.

Re: Q re: Pregnancy LMP vs. sono

1st pg doc went by my chart(i m/c'd and didn't have an af to go by) and 2nd pg went by sono date.

I delivered both babies at the beginning of my 39th week. (i was in labor when i had my c with my 2nd).

Re: Q re: Pregnancy LMP vs. sono

my dates were 1 day apart so my OB went by the sono rate. My son was born via c-section (scheduled, never went into labor) on his sono due date.

My doc said that unless there is more than a 2 week difference, they use the LMP to calculate the EDD,
