Ginger my yellow girl is 4 years old. We just celebrated her birthday, and one full year with us, last weekend.

Bella, my recently adopted 6 year old cat. I've known her since she was a kitten.
I adopted her from a friend who has other animals. Bella requires a lot of attention and did not get along iwth her fur siblings.
She loves to play fetch, actually brings back the mouse or fish we toss across the room.

This is Brody. He's a 21 month old "All American"... a mutt, in other words. The vet told us he's pit, some kind of hound, and Rhodesian Ridgeback. In other words, who know?! He's psycho and we love him anyway.

We have a teacup yorkie named Layla, a rotti/shepard rescue dog named Gabi, and an abandoned kitty named Shadow. We also have a bad asss bird named Meiko.

I am a happy Mom of 4...
My two dogs are Sampson (white sheppard, lab mix) and Delilah (sheppard mix)... Both rescues from North Shore Animal League.
My "girls" as I call them - the cats are Sophia and Sage.. Both rescues from the SPCA of Suffolk County.

We have two kitties, Odin the god kitty (I swear, DH has renamed him that.. tech its Odin) and Freya pretty girl (really, freya).
Odin is also out little pirate kitty, he had one eye removed as a kitten because of a bad infection when the shelter found him :( Image Attachment(s):

My dog Jack, i think he's about 13 years old, got him from the shelter and he's some kind of Jack Russell terrier mix

Zoey- a black and white stray (rode on my husbands axis all the way from the Bronx to Queens until I thought I heard meowing and we pulled over and there she was!!)
Daisy- maltese/ silky terrier mix

Thank you! I know what you mean, I'm always drawn to pictures of people's Labs. Layla is a beautiful girl. I named my friend's dog Layla many years ago, I've always loved that name!

You don't by any chance live in North Massapequa do you? There's a house across the street from me that has a chocolate and a yellow lab and DH and I were watching them play in the snow together from our window one day......looks identical 
Nope, we live in St. James.  Actually, we have neighbors that have one chocolate and one yellow Lab too! I wonder if our neighbors are watching us play with our dogs?

That's a good assessment! Ginger really bosses him around and he usually is shocked and pi$$ed.
I always seem to catch pictures of him with funny looks on his face. It makes me happy, it's obvious he's enjoying himself.

We adopted my little monsters. One is from Bideawee and the other is from our vets office. Here is Loki & Gizmo and the mess we found them in one evening. lol

yeah you can totally tell they're related... the only thing is Helmut is seriously 2x the size of Bear. He's just a giant (and much more pleasant-tempered) version of his mama.

I wish this board got more traffic too! I am totally a culprit - i read it a lot but don't reply much.

These are my babies!! Emmy is a pit-boxer mix I got from the Town of Brookhaven shelter 6 yrs ago. Magnus is a shar-pei mix from the Kent Animal Shelter. I love them and can't imagine life without them...
