10 for both. I love her and think of her as my second mother. She is so sweet that even my cousin wishes she had her as a mother in law. When DH and I were dating she always said no matter what happened I would always be her daughter. We are really close. I know I am really lucky.

We don't get along and I don't really care for her. Which is a shame since I really wanted to have a nice relationship with my ILs.
On the flipside, DH doesn't get along with his parents as well so...

My MIL has honestly always been nothing but kind and loving to me. She was always so happy that DH was with me from the moment she met me. It would be very hard for me to not get along or dislike her bc she really loves us and wants us to be happy. She is not pushy or anything, we live 45 minutes away so she doesn't just "pop" over and even if she did I wouldn't mind, she like one of my friends. Yes, I do realize how lucky I am to have this type of relationship with my MIL

I would say 10 for both honestly! I have been with DH for 11 years so I grew up in her house. My parents were so strict and she was always like the "cool mom" i could turn to. I wont say she is like a second mother though bc I have one mother and dont need another! LOL
but seriously we can open a bottle of wine and talk all night like girlfriends. we have disagreements sometimes - but that goes for any relationship. she sometimes tries to get a bit too involved in our relationship, but that is my BILs fault bc he gives her full reports daily on his. Also, she sometimes doesnt understand my "girly" side and will roll her eyes if DH drives me somewhere or does something for me that I could do myself.

Like- ehh anywhere between 6-7
she gets a little crazy sometimes and drags DH into EVERYTHING when it clearly has nothing to do with him. She used to call him every 3 secs but that has since stopped b/c I had to open my mouth about it

get along: 8. We don't really talk unless we are together. We dont talk on the phone really unless we have a question for one another.
like: 10. I love her, she's the one person in DH's family I acually really love. She is such a sweet person.
Now if you had a question about the FIL or BIL's that would be a whole other story, flip side of the scale!

10 for both. There is a slight language barrier (which i consider a plus NOT a negative) She is sweet, kind and loves us unconditionally. Plus she cooks for us!! I lucked out in that dept.
