Quality Review
I am so stressed out by all the burdens my principal is laying on because they are coming next week!!!! Anyone else going through this?

I hate the Quality Review  My principal is insane about it. Last year was a nightmare. Can't wait for this year 
Sorry you have to deal with it but at least you get it over with at the beginning of the year!

?Thanks!!! But who is my principal kidding! I work in a very low income area.....I'm lucky if my kids knwo their names and are sitiing in their seats paying attention.....nevermind this:
Your students should be able to answer these questions:
o What is your reading level?
o What are your goals?
o How will you know when you meet them?
o What do you use (Fill in this part with any display or tool in the room) this for?
o What do you need to do to get better?
o How do you know that your work is good?
Also do you have a system that allows the students to know his/her own goals?

AHHH Quality Review stinks!
It's all a show. Seriously.
In any case, perception is reality in this case. Just show them you are doing what they wanna see and they'll be happy. Hopefully after it's over, they will lay low for a few weeks....

hey as for the goals, I post them on my closet doors by subject. I have a magnifying glass for science, a book for reading, a pencil for writing etc...
each child has one with their name and their goal
hope this helps :)
