Quest for toddler bloodwork?
If you used quest, can you tell me which one you went to, and how your experience was? Its for my sons 1 year bloodwork. I wanted to have it done at the hospital lab, but they said my insurance has a contract with quest

We went to the one in patchogue on silsl rd. They were very nice and you can call up and make an appt so you don't have to wait that long. As far as getting dd's bloodwork done it was quick. She did cry for a couple of minutes and then she fine

Go to their websiteQuest
Under # 2 where it says reason for testing, check off DR orders and then check for a child under 12
2) Select reason for testing:
Doctor's order
For a child under the age of 12
I have to take Jenna on Sat, we are going to th e one in East Setauket, we made the appt online

We went to the one in Bethpage. I was so nervous, but she was great. The nurse saw that she was nervous and was screaming, so she sang the ABC song to her and it really worked.
Also, FYI you can make an appointment online so you don't have to wait as long.

ugh...we are using Quest and have an appt tomorrow....I made an appt with their 800# so hopefully the wait wont be too long. You can FM me tomorrow if youd like and Ill tell you the one we went to and how it went.

Same Here. They were fantastic and DH brought DS first thing in the morning before they got busy. The Tech was wonderful with him and they really did a good job of distracting him & keeping him calm.
DS was more curious than nervous (being in & out of the hospital I guess he is used to it...) but he was trying to grab the torniquet, the tubes.... DH told the yech that DS is checking it out to make sure it is right.
