Question - Sesame Place and Age
So we're planning a trip to Sesame Place this summer with some friends. I was taking a look at their website to get an idea of what they have there in terms of rides and I am wondering if maybe my DD and the other kids will still be a bit young to enjoy anything. It seems like even though the rides are babyish they still might be too intense or scary for my DD and the others. My DD will about 22 months old when we go and the other children will be 3 years old, 15 months, and 13 months. What do you think? Is it worth it or should we wait another year or so? TIA!

Re: Question - Sesame Place and Age
We went last year; DD turned 2 I think 2 weeks before we went.
She loved it. She went on a lot of the younger rides, though she didn't want to do any of the water rides (but that's her personality too).
ETA: THe rides she went on DH or I went on with her, she didn't do anything alone.

Re: Question - Sesame Place and Age
We took DDat 16 months and again in September at 18 months, she loved it both times. She loved the rides and they let mom/dad on with the kids on everything she went on.

Oh good........I am glad we can ride with her on everything. I can't imagine letting her go off on her own. I think she would be terrified and I would be a wreck!! I am glad your DD enjoyed it. I think we'll go ahead with our plans. I just wanted to make sure before we went and then were disappointed.

Re: Question - Sesame Place and Age
We went when DD was 18 months and she loved it. She didn't do too many rides though - a lot of her time was spent in the kiddie pools that they have, so if you are going with a younger age group, I would recommend going when it will be hot out (May would be too cold) since the water is like ice!
We are planning on going back late this summer with both DD's - they will be almost 4 and 19 months.

Re: Question - Sesame Place and Age
We started to take DD around 18 months and she has loved it ever since. There are a bunch of rides that she can go on, and if she loves characters she will be in heaven.

Thanks for the info!! We plan on going the last week in July so it should be nice and hot for all the water fun!

Re: Question - Sesame Place and Age
DS was 22 months when we went. He loved it. We didn't do many of the water rides but there was one toddler pool that he liked. With the shows, parade, eating with the characters and the rides it took the whole day.
