Question about 3rd birthday party?
Did you invite first cousins that are older...like 7 and 10??? I personally think they are too old, but don't want to offend anyone. In addition to my DS's birthday party, we'll also have coffee and cake in which those cousins will be there.
What do you think?

No, I didn't. They were invited to her 1st b-day party and that was it. I felt they were too old and I had too many friends to invite so they got cut.

I would probably extend the invitation but if they think it is too babyish than they dont have to come.

I would invite them. My step-sons are older... 14 and 11, but they still come to DS's parties... 3rd birthday last year and 4th birthday coming up this year. We had it at Pump It Up so it was actually a blast for them too and I invited one of their friends who DS also loves.
My step-sons are much older than their half-brother and most of their 1st cousins. The 1st cousins are more around DS's age. My step-sons are always invited to the kiddie parties. They always go. They don't always have fun, but I couldn't imgagine them not being invited.

I did, DD loves her big cousins and they enjoy spending time with her. My niece in college is upset because she prob can't make it.

DS will be 3 in June. He only has 3 first cousins so far (7, 5, almost 3) they are all invited to his "kid" party and "family" party.
eta - his 3 first cousins are all brothers. So it wouldn't be fair if I only invited the 3 year old - KWIM?
