Question about BCP & TTC & Doctor

I just stopped taking the birth control pill.....
I was wondering if anyone made an appointment with their gyno before TTC to talk about things before trying......

i stopped taking the pill in october, but we aren't going to TTC till this may. i talked to my dr about it about my annual exam appt in february.

i stopped the pill in aug went n talked to the dr about ttc n a pap in nov. found it really helpful

I was never on BCP but I spoke with my md during my last appt that we would start TTC in March and she just advised me re: folic acid and what not to eat if I become pregnant.

My DH and I stopped the pill August 08 and we had a prenatal consult with the doctor in October 08-we did this because we have a special situation (I have rheumatoid arthritis) and we wanted to find out whether this would impact anything. But definitely if your mind is full of questions, there is no harm in making one!

i made an appt to go over stuff before hand when i fist stopped taking BCP...it was good since they were able to get a lot of the prelim blood test out of the way
