question about boobs
I have been BFing and last night I noticed a lump in my breast. I checked for it today and couldn't find it. Could it just have been a clogged duct or something? Like I said, I can't find it today and the area doesn't hurt or anything. Please tell me it's nothing to be concerned over.

my boobs often felt "lumpy" when my milk ducts were full. After nursing/pumping, the lumps would be gone.

I would think it was just a clogged duct that dissapted when you nursed. If you're still worried about it, I would mention it on your next checkup.
eta. as long as it's disappearing when you nurse, I'd say you're totally fine.

eta. as long as it's disappearing when you nurse, I'd say you're totally fine.
I have my 6 week checkup next Friday so I'll mention it to the DR. But like you said, the lump went away after I nursed so hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

I also had a lump from BF and when I stopped it went away about a month later.

i always had lumps, but they went away after nursing. it sounds like your ducts were just full of milk. if it gets sore to the touch then it's probably clogged. kellymom has a bunch of tips on how to relieve plugged ducts

Probably just milk - mine were so lumpy and sore, I"d massage them and use heat to get it to go away.
