Question about BRU's Rewards Card...
I have a BRU Rewards card. When we sat down to register with them, they said that it would be linked to my registry so that I would get the points for anything bought off my registry.
I went to check today to see how mych I had accumulated (I know, I should have done this sooner ) and I got NO credit for anything purchased (including my furniture ). Virtually EVERYTHING was purchased off my registry. The only time I got credit for anything was when I actually paid for things myself and they physically scanned the card.
If I go into the store and explain this to them, do you think that they can credit me for everything? I know it's a long shot, but everything adds up!
Has anyone had anything like this happen to them?

Re: Question about BRU's Rewards Card...
I went into the store last week because they told me that it would be linked and it wasn't.
The women at the desk say they no longer link them
So no, you can't get credit for registry purchases.

SERIOUSLY??????????
That is such a load of CRAP!
Why bother telling people it's going to be linked and then not do it? I would have had such a nice amount of credit coming towards me from all the things on my registry.
I have had NO problems with BRU at all until this. They took everything I had to return from my shower regardless if I had a receipt or not, they were BEYOND helpful when there was a glitch in my furniture order and notw this. UGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

OH I would FIGHT the he ll out of this one. Call Corporate, try not just going into the store. I would demand my reward points as you were told you were getting it when you signed up which was your main reason for getting it and if you don't get them, you'd like to cancel your card.

I think I'll be giving them a call tomorrow - I am SO frustrated by this!

Re: Question about BRU's Rewards Card...
They told me the same thing- originally that they could be linked then a few weeks later that they no longer do that When I questioned it they added that the rewards program wasn't affiliated with them (through another company) so they couldn't do anything about it. If you have success getting them to credit purchases please FM me!

Re: Question about BRU's Rewards Card...
It can't hurt to try. I didn't register that long ago, so I don't have much of a case.
My friend's baby shower was in May and at that time they were including the Rewards card info on the registry. Maybe you can use that info to fight it!
Good luck!

Re: Question about BRU's Rewards Card...
You know, I was told the same & registered around the same time as you. I just looked at mine & NOTHING is there. Not even all the times I have shopped & had my card scanned. How the heck could this be?

Kristen - I think a new rewards period started the other day - can you check your previous purchases?

When you call...they will tell you that you can only do this ONCE as it is a one time courtesy. Have them do it for you that "one time". Hang up and call back! I think I added 7 purchases in one day after my shower
ETA: Online order slips and credit for those are a little trickier. FM me and I will tell you how I did those

Re: Question about BRU's Rewards Card...
Wouldn't they be giving points out twice if they credited the person making the purchase and the person on the registry?
