Question about disposing of poopie diapers (Sorry if TMI)
So since Troy was born we've been putting his poopie diapers in our kitchen garbage, which has not been an issue. Until now.
I assume it's the more table "big people" foods he is eating, but his poops are unbearable. We do not have much waste in our kitchen garbage, so we go an average of 3-4 days for it to get full.
Any suggestion on what we can do?
Do those little blue powder scented bags really work?
TIA

Re: Question about disposing of poopie diapers (Sorry if TMI)
we just started buying little garbage bags or saved bags from the groceries and put them in there and throw them outside in the garbage. Keeping them in the house was getting tooo stinky

Re: Question about disposing of poopie diapers (Sorry if TMI)
I actually really like the powdered scented bags. When ever my DS does a really big poop I actually use two of the bags. Then I put the diapers in the in a grocery bag and then throw in the trash outside my house daily. I usually wait until there are 3 or 4 diapers in the grocery bag and then I throw it outside.

we use the scented bags but they do not stay in her room for more than a day. I then take them outside and throw them in the can

Re: Question about disposing of poopie diapers (Sorry if TMI)
I use grocery store bags and the blue bags. I'm running out to the garbage pail at least once or twice a day. Poopy diapers do not stay in our house over night.

Those bags really work. I found cheaper ones at Dollar Tree, but they aren't as good for the bad diapers

They go in the extra shopping bags, tied with a big knot and put out immediately (if someone else is home with me) or out as soon as they are napping.

same here. And, this is definitely TMI, but if the poop is flushable (will easily fall out of the diaper - not mushed in,) I do that before putting the diaper in the bag.

Maybe I'm nuts, but sometimes I show DD what I'm doing and say "Bye bye" to the poops, hoping it'll help when she needs to be potty trained. I figure it's good for her to see it go there.

i do the same but i also have the diaper champ that is awesome (i use the same grocery store bags for that too.)
i do use the blue bags for when i'm out and have a bunch in my diaper bag but i don't know how good they are for the long hall. i can bring you some next week when we gtg if you want to try them.
also (don't think i'm nuts) i got josh a potty seat and when i see him start to push i throw him on the potty. it's not to potty train per say but to get him used to the potty.

We use those bags too. I don't even wait for the end of the day if we have a toxic one.
