Question about ELA demo
I have a demo this Friday, and they asked me to do a 25-minute mini lesson on explaining paragraphs and the parts of a paragraph.
Would it be too cliche to do the paragraph hamburger? It's for 7th/8th grade, and I've used it before with 7th graders, but I feel as if many people use this approach, and I'm not sure it would make me stand out enough.
Thoughts?

Re: Question about ELA demo
I think it's best to go with something that you're comfortable teaching. If you feel confident teaching that lesson then I say go for it! Good luck!

Re: Question about ELA demo
If you want to stand out more- maybe you could add a little something extra, like color code it?

Re: Question about ELA demo
I teach 7th and 8th grade ELA and I always try to do something with an acronym to it...that way the kids know they covered all bases within the paragraph. Good luck!
