Question about estimate on tree removal
We are taking down trees in our front/back yard and on Saturday I called a lot of tree removal companies. One guy came on Saturday right after we called him. We are getting a total of 19 trees taken down. I thought it was going to be at least 5000 because there are so many. He quoted us 2800 for everything which to me was great! My question is should I bother getting other estimates or just go with this company. I had an appt for today at 6:00 and they never showed. TIA

Re: Question about estimate on tree removal
19 trees for 2800? THAT IS AMAZING i was only taking down 2, pruning 8 and that was going to be $1,600 and we are keeping the wood.
If this is legit please give me this person's number, perhaps i can get the trees done sooner then the fall.

Above All Tree Service. His name is Bryan and the phone number is 928-4544. They are licensed and insured so I know they are legit. I usually like to get more than one estimate but I really do not think we are going to get a better price.

Re: Question about estimate on tree removal
right now all tree companies are raking in the big bucks due to the recent windstorm.
i'd wait two months or so until their business dies down and see what he quotes you then.
just my opinion.
what size are thes 19 trees? that makes a hill of beans in the quote.

The trees are actually really tall and big in diameter so that is why I am thinking this quote is really good. The only reason we have to do it now is because one tree is completely rotted and we are afraid if we have another storm like we did that it may come down on our house so we didn't want to wait that long. .

Does that price also include taking away the wood?

Couldn't hurt to get another quote, but that's a great price.
Did you do a search on here to get some feedback? I know I've seen their name a few times and I don't think I've ever seen a complaint about them.
We used T&M Greencare and were very happy with their price and work.

Re: Question about estimate on tree removal
$2800 for 19 trees with wood removal and grinding the stumps is a VERY good price.
I know a few people used them on this board and were please with them.
I used T&M and we liked them.
