Question about EWCM and BDing

DH and I have been going all out this month for TTC. We have been BD-ing every other day since CD 9. I started OPK on CD 12 (all negative so far). Today is CD 16. I had EWCM today and yesterday. My cycles have been mostly 31-33 days.

Here is my question:
We BD-ed yesterday. I feel like we should again tonight since I have EWCM again. The problem is DH is tired. He is going to have a long day today. He told me yesterday he won't do it today b/c he is exhausted. Do you think it matters if I skip tonight and just BD tomorrow. Or should I try to convince DH into BDing tonight? How important is tonight to TTC? If the OPK has a smiley tonight I'm going to try to BD. How many days of EWCM do you usually have before O?

Sorry so long. I just don't want to waste a fertile day to BD.

With DD the same thing happened with me. We had been BDing every day mid-cycle previous months. But that time DH was just tired and we skipped a day. We still got a BFP.

I would also invest in Pre Seed. It's taken the annoyance of always having or wanting to BD on certain days and allows for quickies. I bought the multi-use kind. I'm addicted! GL!

I think you can have 3 days of EWCM and then you ovulate, so if you weren't able to BD yesterday, make sure you do today! Good luck!!!

You can have as many days of EWCM as your body decides you're going to have. I usually have EWCM starting around day 7 straight through day 14. There are people who don't get any EWCM (but still ovulate), who get EWCM at times nowhere near O, or as many variations you can think of.

Thanks for all the replies. We did take that night off. We BD-ed the following night and every night after. I got my +OPK yesterday! So we BD-ed yesterday and will tonight and tomorrow. That will make it 5 days in a row.

We are both exhausted! But hope it all pays off in a BFP.
