ok... 1yr mommies (or 11m to 13m) i got an eating question for you
AJ used to eat about 6oz every 3hours I used to make all her food at home (too lazy to NOT puree stuff - hehe)
Now she's been home for 2months and is officially back in daycare as of this week.
This daycare provides table food to the children 6-12months (the room she's in right now)
Last two days they tell me she's refusing her bottle and not finishing.
So I’m wondering ….
Is it normal for them to stop wanting the bottle AS often as they used to?
Is it because she’s eating SO much more food. They serve her eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, grilled cheese sandwich, mac n cheese, yogurt, graham crackers, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc (its really a huge menu).
And while I’m at it. What ARE you feeding your child? Oh and if any of you make your own foods would love some ideas and suggestions. Right now she’s in LOVE with Pears/Apples. Oh and Tyler Florence meals go figure (didnt even know he had a kid - much less that he had a food line for babies! )
TIA

DS is 10.5 months. He gets 3 bottles throughout the day and is weaning himself on the middle one. He gets 6-8 oz when he wakes up, 6-8 oz at 11 and 6-8 oz before bed. He never finishes an 8 oz bottle though. He also eats 3 meals a day. 2 of them are at the sitters.
For breakfast I send pancakes, waffles, cereal bar, oatmeal, yogurt, or french toast sticks and a fruit.
For lunch he has pastina, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, chick nuggets, cream cheese on toast, yogurt, or sometimes left overs from last nights dinner. He also gets a fruit for lunch and sometimes a veggie like veggie nuggets, or peas and carrots if they are left over from dinner.

ok so maybe she's growing out of it.

I saw my pediatrician yesterday and he mentioned that DS was stopping the bottle in the afternoon and he said that they only need a pint of formula a day at this age :)

DD just turned a year... she gets a bottle in the morning when she wakes up around 730ish, then at night at 7pm when she goes to bed. In between she eats breakfast at around 9am, which is usually cut up fruit, or yogurt & banana- then lunch around 1ish, and dinner at 5ish... and maybe some cheerios as a snack in between. The kids eats anything- she loves ALL fruits, especially watermelon, and eats what we eat- i just cut it up super small...
eta: she does not drink juice, but loves her water from her straw-cup... she doesnt really take milk during the day, unless we are at friendlys or something and it comes with her meal...
