question about extra formula

I filled a bottle for 4oz and this time Cadence didnt finish all of it. Can I put it back in the fridge or should I just throw it out

Just throw it out unless she is going to eat it in less than an hour. The bacteria in their saliva infects the bottle.

I always kept the bottles around for about 2 hours before tossing it. Ped. said this was fine...just don't refrigerate and then reheat a bottle thats already been started. Now, at 8 months, I am a little bit more liberal..I will keep the bottle around about 3 hours before tossing.

I keep it for 1 - 1 1/2 hrs at most. I hate when DS doesnt drink his whole bottle, I feel like it is such a waste, especially when it's 2 oz. or more.

we throw it after after about an hour....I hate when some goes to waste but I heard that the saliva infects the formula after 1 hour.
