Question about Follistem Medication

Does Follistem have to be refridgerated after 1st initial use and does it have to be room temperature when injected?

Nurse at NSUH said to refrigerate but I read the instruction leaflet it came with and it said to inject at room temperature. Should I just leave it out of the fridge?

I called NSUH 2 1/2 hours ago with this question. I'm waiting for a response.

What did you do?

me too- you should refridgerate it

ETA: I leave it out for about 5-10 minutes before injecting it. Usually the time it took to mix the menopur.

it warns up quickly so in just a few minutes its warmer, I think it hurts less if its not cold. But it could be in my head.

I always refrigerated it or kept it wrapped in an ice pack if I had to be out.

I injected it right after taking it out of the fridge.

Re: Question about Follistem Medication

I know I'm late in my response, but if I took the shot right after taking it out of the refrigerator, it kinda hurt. I let it sit out for 20 minutes and never had any pain after that
