Question about Google search results

What's the story when you Google something and a match comes up, but when you click the heading/ main link they provide, that page with your key words isn't there?

Here's the example to make it clearer bc I don't think I described it well-

Dh applied for a job months ago. He just got a call for an interview. He never saved the job description, which is now "expired" on the website. He obviously wants to look back at the description before the interview. When I Google the job, it comes up in the search as having been listed on a big job website (you can see the the little blurb), but when I click the link, the job is not within the list of jobs it brings me to.

Anyone know what I mean?

Thanks! I was looking on my tablet and didn't see that little cache pull down bar!!
