Question about Gucci store
I bought a Gucci bag about three months ago which I was going to keep but the more I look at it the more I'm not crazy about it. I didn't take the tags off because I wasn't sure about keeping it since day one. I never wore it, it's actually been sitting in the material bag it comes with. I also kept the serial # in the pocket along with the little booklet it came with. Problem is, I can't find the damn receipt for the life of me! I'm stressing so much because I paid a pretty penny for it and no longer want it. Do you think the store would be willing to take it back if I were to exchange it for another bag? My last resort would be to sell it on EBAY but would much rather go through the store it was purchased at.
Does anyone know how they are with returns? This is the first bag I purchased from them so I have no clue.

I would call the store and ask what their policy is.
and IMO, if you sell it on eBay, you won't get what you paid for it.

3 months and no reciept later, I doubt Gucci will take it back. I think you have to return items in 1-2 weeks to get a refund.

I am not asking for a refund, I want to exchange it for another bag. I know they wouldn't refund me 3 months later without a receipt.
I'm just going to call the store and see what they say.

I think you'll be fine... worse case, you can return it at Gucci in Saks. Tell them you got it as a gift and want to exchange it. Or.. did you pay with a credit card? look for a past statement that has the bag itemized on it and that's your proof of purchase from the store.. they will def let you exchange it!

I paid for it with my debit card, even better I can show proof of purchase with my bank statement!

Gucci usually asks you for your information regardless if you are paying cash or by credit. You should call them because they will have you on file, even if you don't have the receipt.
