Woo hoo! Finally - CAC! But I have a question...
We had all the ductwork put in a couple months ago but due to the other construction couldn't have it turned on. They came today and it's working great, but what temp do you set it at for daytime (someone is home during the day) and nightime? They set it on 72 and 75 but it seems like the 72 will be too cold. Thanks!

Ours is set for 72 all the time. I find it very comfy and I'm usually always cold.

My MIL has CAC and sets it at 76 during the day, so it cycles on and off, and 74 during the evening.

Re: Woo hoo! Finally - CAC! But I have a question...
heh, we like it warm all year long
we set it to 76 or 77 during the day (when we're home... or 80 if we're not), and 75 at night.
As for the winter... we're lucky becuase our apartment building is quite warm, and our place almost NEVER goes below 70... and that's without our heating system kicking on

Re: Woo hoo! Finally - CAC! But I have a question...
Thanks everyone! We originally had 72 during the day but it was too cold for me (and 74 at night - same thing). We switched it to 74 during the day and 76 at night - we'll see how that goes.

Re: Woo hoo! Finally - CAC! But I have a question...
Of course it varies per house depending on tree shade, construction, etc, we keep it off during the day since nobody is home. We set it at 75-76 depending on how hot we are at the moment.

Re: Woo hoo! Finally - CAC! But I have a question...
We usually keep ours at 70 upstairs, 71-72 downstairs (2 different zones)

Re: Woo hoo! Finally - CAC! But I have a question...
We have 2 zones (one upstairs, one down). Whichever area we're in, we'll keep that at 76, and put the other one up at 80.

Re: Woo hoo! Finally - CAC! But I have a question...
Between 73 and 75 seems to work just fine for us. When we are not home I raise it up to like 78.

Re: Woo hoo! Finally - CAC! But I have a question...
I've read that 78 is the most energy efficient setting. That said, we keep it at 78 most of the day, goes down to 74 at 5:30p, 76 at 11p, 74 at 4a and then back to 78 at 8:30a.
I have different settings for the weekend since we are out of the house at different times than we are M-F.
