Question About HPT?!?! HELP!!!!
Has anyone ever heard of a False Positive?
Here is my story. AF was due today (28 days but a lot of times I'm early). I took a HPT last night and got my BFP. I just wiped after going to the bathroom (sorry TMI) and saw some pinkish blood. Nothing on my underwear. Do you think it is implantation bleeding?
I did bleed with my other two pregnancies but I'm still nervous becaus inbetween DS! & DS@ I had a M/C.
Any opinions or advice would help.

I would not freak out. I have heard that some do bleed even when they are PG as long as it is not a normal AF flow. I don't think it is implantation bleeding bc you would not get a + on the HPT then. Give it 2 days & test again.

It might be implantation... how many DPO are you?
I've heard implantation can be from day 6-12, so if you ovulate a little on the later side, or if you have a shorter luteal phase, you might still have implantation.
Also, a lot of girls often have some spotting after their BFP. You might want to ask on the PG boards.

Thanks - I'm not sure how many dpo. I bled with my 2 other preg but I also had a m/c so I feel like this could go either way. I think I'm going to test again next week.

i don't think you have to worry about a false +. I think false - is much more likely. congrats!!! Test again if it will make you feel better

False positives are very rare. Some people do bleed a little bit for the first month like pinkish. Wait til tomorrow, take another one, then if a BFP, call your dr make an appt.

I don't think it was a false positive. I had some spotting when I was pregnant with my daughter. I hope everything it okay

no more spotting. Just very light brown yesterday. I feel much better. Thanks everyone for all your good wishes!!!
