I have used flavored vodkas and mixed them with different fruit flavored Jello.
I also like watermelon Jello w flavored vodka (Jolly Rancher--ish)
Rum is good too.
Ok, come to think of it I like them all.

replace all the water with liquor? half?

1 cup boiling water 1 cup liquor (replaces 1 cup cold water)

definitely add puckers... makes them nice and sweet...you get it in the liquor store
I do plain old raspberry jello, w/vodka & raspberry puckers (1/2 water, 1/2 alcohol...I usually use a little more vodka than puckers)...these are always the favorite and I've made them a bunch of different ways for parties.
