Question about side effects from shots...I am worried

Jacob had his 4 month appointment Friday night and got shots as well. Since then, he has been very irritable especially at night. Last night he hardly drank any of his bottle and this morning I couldnt get him to take anything. On top of that, he is sneezing and coughing so he may have a little cold. I am sooo worried that he might get dehydrated. This morning his mood was good but he wasnt interested in eating. Could any of this be a side effect of the shots? He didnt have this reaction when he had his shots at 2 months. DH is going to call the pediatrician but I was just wondering if anybody else had this happen. TIA!

I would still call the ped, just for a piece of mind for you guys

DD did the same after her shots starting at 4 months. She gets cranky, irritible, sleeps more and drinks alot less for about 2-3 days after the shots. After about 3 days, she starts to get back to her normal self and drinks more than she usually does to make up for it.

Hope he's feeling better. Asher had a worse reaction to his 4 month shots than to his 2 month. He was running a fever all weekend . Hope Jacob feels better soon!

Hope he is feeling better...yes those shots especially the DTP one can be tough on them

thanks everyone! We had a better night last night. He is still fussy because of his cold though. The pediatrician said that he should be back to normal by today and so far so good!
