Question about Level II for BTDT
When it was scheduled my doctor didn't mention anything about drinking water before. My sister says that when she went for hers she had to drink water an hour before. Did anyone have to do this? Should I call the doctor and ask?

I'd call to ask, but I actually was instructed to empty my bladder before the Level II. I went to Madonna in Mineola.

I never had to have a full bladder for any sonogram/ultra sound scan for any of my pregnancies. Each dr./tech is different and it depends on their machines. If they didn't say to have a full bladder I wouldn't worry about it.

Same for me. I only needed a full bladder for my 12 week sono, but never since.

I was told to have a full bladder, but then DD wasn't cooperating so they made me empty my bladder.

they didnt tell me to have or not have a full bladder, however at the hospital where i got it done, there was a sign on the bathroom door that patients that were there for a level II should not use the bathroom prior to their sono.
