question about meds..
Hello ladies, I have been mostly posting on the TTC board, but thought maybe some of you could shed some light for me...
I came of BCP back in Sept and had 4 pretty regular cycles of about 30 days.. then in Feb it went to 35 days.. now it has been over 70 days.. my last period was Feb 25th. I went to my gyn a month ago who was pretty blaze about it being late, so I have app't with a new Dr. next week. If you have had a similar experience, what are the steps my dr. should take? If I have some sort of infertility issue, I want to be aware of it now, before we start TTCing in July...
Thanks so much for reading, I lurk on this board a lot, and I really admire the strength of all of you.. to all...

Re: question about meds..
Many times, women can be on the pill for a long time and it can mask issues. It is NOT normal to not have your period for 70 days. Now it could be something simple, but your Dr should not be blowing it off. I would find a new Dr.

Re: question about meds..
When I went off the pill after being on it for 10 years, I got my period as scheduled for the first month or two, as well. But then as it fully left my system, my periods were getting to be farther and farther apart until I wasnt getting them on my own at all. I agree that BCP masks a lot of issues, and I think it is good that you are going to a new doctor.
Good Luck
