Question about meds for a frozen cycle
Hi girls, I am doing a frozen cycle for a 5 day embryo. I was just told my transfer will be on thursday. They gave me my instructions printed out but they were for a thursday transfer for a 3 day embryo. The instructions said to start PIO on MONDAY but the nurse crossded it out to say SATURDAY. Then it said to start medrol and doxycylone on TUESDAY. but do you think i'm supposed to start doxy and medrol on SUNDAY and she forgot to change it? In the past I think I've always started it the day after PIO for a 5 day transfer.
Can anyone tell me their protocol, especially those that go to NSUH?
I really dont want to have to call the emergency # tomm for this question
TIA!

Re: Question about meds for a frozen cycle
Normally, the micro meds (medrol, doxy, baby aspirin, PIO) are started 5 days prior to the transfer. So yes, I would assume that the medrol and doxy would start Saturday for a Thusday transfer. I would call just to be safe though.
