Question about MLS abbreviations
I cannot figure out for the life of me what a pty driveway stands for. Help!

Ok I will take a guess....I could be way off but I think it might mean
"Party driveway" meaning large driveway which can accommodate many cars.
I tried.

It could be a mistype as I've seen lots of those - it could mean partial driveway.
There are a few realtors on this board - one of them may be able to answer for certainty.

Nope, not a typo. It does mean party driveway but unfortunately not in the way another poster thought.
A party driveway means there is a single driveway for multiple (though usually only 2) residences. So, essentially, you share your driveway with other people. You may have your own garage or room toward the back of your house where you may park your car but the actual driveway is shared.
Are you looking in queens or bklyn? that's where these are the most common.
