Question about morning sickness and nausea
I feel car sick ALL day long coupled with constant dry heaving. The only thing that gives me a little relief is to fill up on carbs but at 7 weeks, my pants are getting tight already and I'm thinking there has to be another alternative. Is there something that works/worked for you?
TIA

Re: Question about morning sickness and nausea
Ginger ale, crackers, carbs..saved me from week 6 to 9.. and i also noticed when i stuff myself, i tend to bring it all back up, and i did that hoping something would stick, wrong move.. seltzer water also helps.. the pant tightness.. its bloat.. it will subside..

Re: Question about morning sickness and nausea
Carbs helped me too...Sour things helped a little...Lemonade, sour preggo pops....making sure my stomach was never empty...italian ices, ice pops..
But I still threw up every day...this just helped a little bit along the way.
it stinks!

Re: Question about morning sickness and nausea
Ginger crystals....I got them from a whole foods store. they worked well. That and a can of coke.
also vitamin b6 and or 12. but i would ask your dr about that first. i believe it is 25 mg.

Re: Question about morning sickness and nausea
Try sucking on candies/lollipops -- it can battle the nausea.
Another odd trick, smelling a lemon/lemon juice. I have no idea why, but it can work to bring some relief.

I think you may be on to something. I started putting lemon jouice in my water yesterday and the sickness wasn't as strong.
Thanks!
