Question about nap time or daytime sleeping

Do you or did you put your newborn in his/her crib when sleeping during the day or only at night?

DS will sleep ANYWHERE (swing, boppy pillow, bouncy seat, being held)

should i leave him there or transfer to crib??

For those first few months, I let DS sleep in his carrier, swing, wherever. As he got older I introduced the crib for naps.

A newborn sleeps so much, it's nice to have them nearby and they are able to sleep anywhere.

I've always put her in the crib unless we are out, then she naps in the stroller or carseat.

i let DS sleep wherever he was - sometimes i would put him in his bassinet (where he slept at night) but usually i left him where he fell asleep, his bouncer, swing, carrier etc.

but as he got older (maybe 5-6 weeks) i started napping him in his crib. that was about the same time he started sleeping there at night.

I never moved my DS any time he fell asleep anywhere. As a NB, if he fell asleep in his glider seat during the day, I let him sleep there. At night, I would put him in the bassinet.

As he got older, and had more of a sleep pattern, he pretty much only slept in his crib, so when it was time for a nap, I would put him in the crib.

I started crib napping at 4 months...she is 5 months now (today actually)
